Story

In the isolated village of Gordes in Provence, the Moreau Family is the most influential.

They are the largest winegrowers in Provence, Étienne Moreau, Mayor of the Village, and his son Cedric Moreau, pull the strings in the place.

Amelie Laurent, a beautiful art conservator from Marseille, arrives in the village to meet Cedric's parents and then to get married in the old cathedral Église Saint-Firmin.

But from the first moment, something does not fit. The inhabitants are inhospitable and distant, the village seems abandoned, frozen in time and no one seems willing to talk about the past.

In a place where traditions are more powerful than people and every ceremony has its price, Amelie will find herself confronted with a truth that no one dared to question.
